Greetings From the Beach

Ah the Beach! The soothing salt water, exfoliating sand, the healthy dose of vitamin D and the calm of the waves. Whether it’s a summer trip to Rehoboth or Hawaii, or a winter escape to the Bahamas or Costa Rica, the beach is where we flock in numbers to revive and restore our stressed bodies.

The beach has also inspired some classic cinema, even several unique film genres, so if you can’t make it to the actual beach this summer, do the next best thing and enjoy a great film about the beach at the Avalon!

Join us each Sunday morning in August (and September 1) for our special Greetings From the Beach summer film series! Whether you love the classic terror of a killer shark, a French summer trifle, an ABBA-inspired modern musical, an iconic surfing travelogue, or a loony ‘Beach Party’ film – each week we’ve got you covered with a unique and fun new movie.

Our next Greetings from the Beach screening will be announced soon.
