With the help of friends like you, the beautiful and historic Avalon Theatre was dramatically rescued, restored, and reopened in April 2003. Through our exciting Membership Program, you can help sustain Washington’s only nonprofit independent movie house while enjoying an array of fabulous benefits at the theater and in the neighborhood. Open to individuals, businesses, and organizations, the Membership Program will help keep the theater alive with great first-run films, classic films, family matinees, film discussions, community programs, and much more. And because the Avalon is the city’s oldest operating movie house, you will also help preserve a piece of history.

The Avalon is operated by the non-profit Avalon Theatre Project, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Your membership fee is tax deductible to the full extent allowable by law. So take a look at the membership benefits, find the level that’s right for you, and sign up today.

• Free Admission for 2 to the Avalon at all times (NOTE: Free admission may not apply for some special engagements)
• Instant V.I.P access. No need to wait in the ticket buying line!
