Directions

The Avalon Theatre is located just south of Chevy Chase Circle at 5612 Connecticut Avenue NW, between McKinley and Northampton Streets.

Parking

The Avalon does not have a dedicated parking lot. Parking is available on many of the side streets surrounding the theater and along Connecticut Avenue.

Public Transportation

The Avalon Theatre is accessible using the Metrorail and Metrobus system.

The closest Metrorail station is the Friendship Heights station on the Red Line. At Friendship Heights, transfer to the E4 bus, which will drop you a half-block from the Theatre at the corner of McKinley St. and Connecticut Ave. Alternatively, the Avalon is a short 15-minute walk from the Friendship Heights station.

If you are coming from points South on Connecticut Avenue, other buses which will drop you off right in front of the Avalon are the L2.
